Well it appears the hopes of keeping the corona virus contained have come crashing down around us. Be honest, even reading this now its hard to believe, tens of thousands of people world wide are being infected with this deadly virus in some places having a fatality rate of 3%. putting that into perspective that is 3 in every hundred. 3million every hundred million.

Should we be worried?

Worried? if the media had its way we would all stay worried morning, noon and night. worry is not something i would ever suggest, worry can lead to all sorts of other problems, quite frankly in the midst of tense geopolitical situations and the stock markets suffering on top of a global epidemic we don’t need any extra issues.

In saying that, i would also like to say being prepared couldn’t hurt.

If Italy can be used as an example, store shelves are clearing out like crazy. I know I don’t want to be left fighting over the last can of spam.

What should you do to prepare?

I have made a list of things I recommend having in case of an epidemic or any natural disaster one would need to prepare for.

  • Water – one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation.
  • Food – at least a three-day supply of non-perishable food.
  • Battery-powered or hand crank radio and a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert.
  • Flashlight.
  • First aid kit.
  • Extra batteries.
  • Respirator
  • a few 5 gallon buckets
  • Duct Tape
  • seeds
  • indoor led lights (for indoor farm)
  • powdered supplements

I wrote an article on how to set up a micro-greens indoor farm the cheapest and easiest way.  smartmindbodysoul.com/microgreens if you want to go the extra step and be prepared for the possibility of spending weeks if not months in your home or in my case I live in a third story apartment. I will not be in a position to have an outdoor garden. Indoor farming may be the only option for food if an outbreak occurs and grocery stores close down like they are in China.

Even if you don’t plan to grow microgreens, the set up can be used for any vertical grow operations. I went and had delivered seeds that i can grow quickly in case of the need for immediate food. What if the Grid goes down?

A very important obstacle people in the city tend to over look is  electricity. hense why batteries are essential. but what to do with the batteries?

What would you do if your electricity shuts down and you cant use your stove? your refrigerator.  no hot water. How are you going to boil water?

If you are in my position, you cant have a fire in your apartment. what if you don’t have a barbecue?

I took it upon myself  to stack up on dried goods and canned meat with high sodium for long term storage and to cut down on the need for energy to cook. but as for the case of boiling water i have gotten a small hot plate that i can use by using battery power. You need to be able to boil water! not only for sanitary drinking water. For canning, in case of long term lock down, For bathing, for cooking.

Do not fail at maintaining the possibility of boiling water!

Stay bunkered down!

this isnt The walking Zombie shows you watch, this is real life, and you have to face reality and your neighbors after this potential threat has passed. So don’t go pillaging. Respect your neighbors and dont eat their food or steal from their trees that over hang on the street. their family needs to eat too. take this time to prepare if you have not already done so. Nobody is going to do it for you. There are many things i have left out because i do not want to beat a dead horse. i just wanted to do my part in sharing some of my ideas and hope that i can help ease some worry by helping you prepare so that you are not faced with panic when everyone starts heading for your local grocery stores and you were not prepared. The Healing power of drumming. (Its more than just music.)

The gentle rhythmic pounding of a drum creates a vibration throughout the entire body. The
exhilaration in your soul wraps around the moment, and in the midst of it all-healing is taking
place. Drums have had their place in history for centuries, but even in the modern era, we get to

Emotions become heightened when listening to music, and even more so when creating it.

practiced around the world, including in religious and shamanic practices. In the United States, it
is starting to pop up in group therapy sessions and hospitals.
One of the biggest questions people ask is: How does hitting your extremities against a piece of
leather create physical healing effects? Well, one huge indicator of the mind and body
connection lies in the power of endorphins. Endorphins are those things in your brain that have a
strong influence in physiological effects on the body. That little hormone that lies in your
pituitary gland also combats pain and creates a positive feeling in your mind similar to getting a
new tattoo or taking a motorcycle ride. So while you are feeling the distraction from your
problems while hitting a drum, you’re also releasing hormones that are doing these healthy and
healing things for your body. Participating in drum therapy is a great method for dealing with a
lot of different kinds of mental health issues, and some physical issues as well.
Drumming also produces a deep level of synchronous brain activity, which is very helpful for
people who have autism. In people who have Autism, it is often found that their brains are
asynchronous, and since face to face therapy is a difficult route for that population of
individuals- drum therapy is a great therapeutic route for somebody on the Autism spectrum.

nonverbal information from lower brain structures into the frontal cortex, producing
“feelings of insight, understanding, integration, certainty, conviction, and truth, which
surpass ordinary understandings and tend to persist long after the experience, often

Another perk to the synchronic effect on the brain, is the ability to function higher and release
emotions. Something that people on the autism spectrum have trouble doing.
So as you have read, drumming is an appropriate safe route for mental and emotional healing and
release. It isn’t as strenuous as a jog and appeals to all people and most body types. Whether you
want to take a class, buy a djembe and play it along to your own music, or join a local drum
circle; the healing options are endless. The Ambient feeling of a drum circle is psychologically
therapeutic and if your community does not have one, it might be a nice time and place to start
one.

New Year New Lifestyle!

Its 2019!

Are you ready to take your life back after those mean old holidays? forcing you to eat prime rib, Turkey, twice baked potatoes. Pumpkin pie.. I probably ate 5 pies to myself since Thanksgiving.

I fell way behind in my diet. But there is good news in that. Now i have a new goal. I was too busy trying to be perfect that I didn’t feel I had any room to improve. Jokes on me. So know that you’re not alone.

The 1st of January is always an exciting time. Its really just another day, but with it brings motivation, it brings a feeling of new things to come and a feeling as if we can just wash away the mistakes of yesteryear. As we turn the page into 2019 what kind of things are you washing away? Better yet, what type of things are you gaining? What lessons did you learn? And what ACTIONS are we going to take this next year that will define the new you? Are your goals financial? Or do you want to lose weight? Become a better mother or father? Be a more loving partner? Maybe its something small like cutting out soda from your diet. Or something huge like cutting out drugs and alcohol?. What ever your new year resolution may be i know you can do it.

I used to be a hardcore alcoholic, depending on ones perspective i still am, I havn’t drank since. Aug 28th 2018.

I never thought I was going to quit drinking. My family and friends were all prepared for me to die in the hospital from alcoholism and I felt powerless over that reality. I could not see a brighter day, a happy future, I could only see the sadness that was the inevitability of my addiction winning the battle. Then one day, in a serious, extremely painful bout of pancreatitis ( 4th time hospitalized in a year) after the doctor telling me I am in stage 2 liver disease, have a legion on my pancreas, 2 on my kidneys, a tear in my duodenum, bleeding ulcers, and a laundry list of mental repercussions of constant abuse and self loathing, i just stopped. unless you have witnessed someone actually die from alcoholism, I was the worst case of alcoholism you would have seen. I just knew it was death or other. I chose other. And with that call to ACTION snowballed positive decision after positive decision. I exercise on a regular basis, I started intermittent fasting which has done wonders for my physical health and self esteem. I started this blog which has propelled my life and daily actions forward into the realm of positivity and focus. The reason I’m saying all of this is to hope that I can be a beacon of hope to anyone struggling that thinks. Oh im too far into my addiction or I’m too fat and out of shape to start getting healthy. There is no such thing. I was over 270 pounds bloated sack of human excrement dying on a hospital table with zero hope. Couldn’t tie my shoes without breaking my belt or bursting a button a crossed the room. For real. How do we find a Solution to the worlds biggest problems?.

If you are anything like me you cant help but think, how can one person make a change? How can i make a difference i am only one person. The time to change that perspective is now. The problem is not that we are not producing enough food (although this may become a problem in the future), but that people lack access to food. Not having enough money to obtain basic food supplies and not being able to grow our own food are the two main causes of being unable to acquire food. At the root of all these problems is conflict.

While hunger has steadily decreased over the past ten years, over the last few of these years  an upsurge of conflict has doubled the number of refugees in the world.barn-3374440_960_720.jpg

Farmers need to abandon their land to save themselves and their families. Once these farmers reach a safer location, they have no land rights, which means they can’t grow crops. These refugees then need to purchase more highly priced exported foods. When they don’t have enough money, families don’t eat. They dont have the luxury of stealing a package of steak if they are starving. Or hitting a food bank. They dont have state funded programs giving them foodstamps. They simply just do not eat.

Even though approximately 11% of the world is undernourished, more people, about 40% of the adult population, are overweight.

No country in the world has seen any kind of decrease in obesity rate. Even with starvation being as prevalent as it is. In fact, it is rising among both children and adults. While it is the easy rout to think of obesity as a form of ‘over-nutrition’, it is actually another kind of malnutrition. Withholding necessary nutrients to replace them with convenience and flavor. People consume nutrient deficient, high-carb, preservative-rich prepacked sugar filled garbage food and hold on to unhealthy weight as a result. Causing a laundry list of illnesses and disorders including diabetes, cancer, blood disorders, heart disease and stroke. When we talk about hunger, we’re not just talking about access to food, but also access to nutrients. In order to thrive, humans need a range of foods providing a variety of essential nutrients. Poor families often rely on just one or two staple foods— like corn or wheat — which means they’re not getting enough of critical macronutrients like protein, and they’re also missing out on lots of important vitamins and minerals. The less nutritious a person’s diet, the poorer their health will be, the less sustainable energy they will have, and the less likely they will be to break the poverty-hunger cycle. This is especially important for women and young children: Nutrition support during pregnancy and up to the age of five can help protect children for their entire lives, reducing the likelihood of disease, poor health, and cognitive impairment.

Besides malnutrition, there are many other issues affecting health on a global scale. In the past, the main topic of focus had been communicable diseases such as hepatitis, cholera, malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS.

Increased access to clean water and improved education around proper sanitation has resulted in an overall decrease in the prevalence of transferable diseases worldwide. However, this does not mean that efforts to improve sanitation should be discontinued or slowed down by any means, only that what is currently being done to prevent disease is actually working.

The focus of the global healthcare community has now shifted to non-communicable diseases like cancer, diabetes, chronic respiratory and cardiovascular diseases as well as road traffic injuries and deaths. Communicable diseases now kill 70% of persons and low-income countries are the most severely affected. While it is still important to focus on teaching proper hygiene practices, the importance of good nutritional education and preventing personal harm is now being emphasized.

I believe there is no better time to educate people about what foods effect what parts of their body and mind. Explaining the dangers of a sugar filled diet, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking tobacco, using unsafe cooking fuels, driving recklessly and walking across a busy highway, not having the proper lighting while jogging or bicycling is imperative. So many deaths are a direct result of a preventable ,uneducated decision /choice.

In most low-income countries emergency response is not of the highest standards, which means that empowering individuals in the local community with first aid and the access to clean water and knowledge of how to grow food can help to save lives. download (14).jpeg

The UN tackles the problems of health and well-being under UNSDG 3 and the World Health Organisation (WHO) oversees the objectives set under this goal.

GVI helps to further the aims of UNSDG 3 through their healthcare projects. Their healthcare projects are available in Thailand, South Africa, Nepal, Mexico and India. These projects are mostly educational.

We have a need to conduct workshops with students and community members to teach them about preventative healthcare practices. Not how to vaccinate and hope for the best and buy cough syrup by the gallon when it fails and you get sick anyway.

These type of workshops like WASH (Water and Sanitation for Health) classes where they are taught about the importance of washing hands and brushing teeth as well as healthy cooking and eating workshops.
We need to promote the importance of daily exercise. A huge reason people are more susceptible to illness is poor health and fitness. We also need to focus on maternal and child health as well as first aid workshops.https://bit.ly/2RhBw82

Since it is unlikely we are going to change the content in our public schools or change the curriculum and force the adjenda that these things are important to focus on we are blessed with the platforms of the internet and social media to be able to come together and focus on the needs of the many. A movement that really hit close to my heart was the The Dakota Access Pipeline or Bakken pipeline.

The Dakota access pipeline is a 1,172-mile-long underground oil pipeline in the United States. It begins in the shale oil fields of the Bakken formation in northwest North Dakota and continues through South Dakota and Iowa to an oil terminal near Patoka, Illinois. This is an example of people coming together against a raging system that is destroying agriculture and i am aware it is a little off topic however i feel necessary to mention as it pertains to adversity when people stand up for what is right and what is good for the health and welbeing of millions of people but get brutally stomped out by big money. The reason it hit me so hard is because I understand the need for clean water. I understand what the suix tribes and local natives were protecting  and are continueing to  protect. The right to clean drinking water out weighs the right to profit. Especially when we have so many other options of feul and products like hemp to replace plastics that we no longer even need to frack or use crued oil. Its as old as the ideals of the politicians perpetuating the behaviors that WILL lead to our demise. And as necessary.

The pipeline was built and will one day leak and those percentages of available drinkable water will go down dramatically and we will be left wanting. Because we let the needs of the few destroy the lives of the many. So if we are not able to change their behaviors we at least need to take responsibility and need to change ours. We can educate eachother and teach our children to grow food. Teach them about alkalinity and acidity. Push healthy alternatives to transportation to reduce our footprint and increase physical activity. Shorten our trip to and from our place of work and build a community that helps tend a garden that feeds everyone and promotes self sustainability. That community can be on the internet and the garden can be information. However its attainable for you.

There are tons of benefits to having a community garden: stronger sense of community, promoting healthy eating, learning what it really takes to grow your food. It’s also a great way to make gardening a possibility for those living in urban homes with less yard room, and to create a healthy town center for citizens of all ages.

But where should you start if you’d like a community garden of your own? I reccomend looking within your community to find out potential leaders, and if there’s any urban farming already going on in your area. You’ll need someone who’s already familiar with farming techniques and growing produce locally to make sure your community garden is truly successful. There are places like where I’m  From where you can rent a small chunk of land to grow your own garden that is overseen by a college botony group. Those places are great but sometimes not phesible for someone who already struggles to afford groceries. Schools are another great option. Reach out to your local schools that don’t have gardens to see if they have any space that they’d want to turn into a community garden. Churches also often own a lot of land and frequently have an interest in community gardening.

Over 200 million children under the age of five in developing countries are malnourished. For them, and for the world at large, Kofi Anan’s message is especially urgent. Malnutrition contributes to more than half of the nearly 12 million deaths of children under five in developing countries each year, and malnourished children who survive often lose precious mental capacity.

This should not be happening with how much technology we have. We can get to other planets but cant get clean water and food accrossed a sea of water and food. Explain that. However far-reaching the benefits of nutrition may be from a clinical viewpoint, ensuring good nutrition is also a matter of international law. The right to proper nutrition is most emphatically proclaimed in the UN’s 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child. Under the Convention, virtually every government in the world recognizes the right of all children to the highest attainable standard of health, specifically including the right to good nutrition. So the fact the laws are in place, practice needs to be in place.

this implies learning– and action. Action can take three forms: influencing public policy, contributing financially, and working directly with poor people.

Learn about hunger and poverty. What are the situations and hangups confronting poor people in the United States and in the rest of the world, and what are the underlying factors causing their hunger and poverty? An important  step to helping poor people is to increase your understanding through learning. While it is, in general, not possible to support individual poor families, it is possible to contribute to organizations that do support poor people. We have all of the resources and the information to fix world hunger and provide clean drinkable water to the world. The question is will we do anything about it. I hope everyone gets to see a day without wanting or lacking basic nutrition and the comforts of water and shelter.

Pancreas health, how to prevent pancreatic cancer.

Whats up with the pancreas?

The pancreas is about 6 inches long and sits across the back of the abdomen, behind the stomach. The head of the pancreas is on the right side of the abdomen and is connected to the duodenum (the first section of the small intestine) through a small tube called the pancreatic duct. It plays an essential role in converting the food we eat into fuel for the body’s cells. The pancreas has two main functions: an exocrine function that helps in digestion and an endocrine function that regulates blood sugar. The pancreas produces 2 antagonistic hormones to control blood sugar: glucagon and insulin.

The alpha cells of the pancreas produce glucagon. Glucagon raises blood glucose levels by stimulating the liver to metabolize glycogen into glucose molecules and to release glucose into the blood. Glycogen is a substance deposited in bodily tissues as a store of carbohydrates.

It is a polysaccharide that forms glucose on hydrolysis. Almost all of the pancreas (95%) consists of exocrine tissue that produces pancreatic enzymes for digestion. The remaining tissue consists of endocrine cells called islets of Langerhans. These clusters of cells look like grapes and produce hormones that regulate blood sugar and regulate pancreatic secretions. A healthy pancreas produces the correct chemicals in the proper quantities, at the right times, to digest the foods we eat.

Pancreatitis

Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas that occurs when pancreatic enzyme secretions build up and begin to digest the organ itself. It can occur as acute painful attacks lasting a matter of days, or it may be a chronic condition that progresses over a period of years. I have dealt with pancreatitis on numerous occasion. I had bouts of pancreatitis that led me into the hospital. It is incredibly painful and can last days. Symptoms include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite.

Acute vs. Chronic Pancreatitis

Acute pancreatitis refers to pancreatitis that develops suddenly, most often as a result of gallstones or alcohol abuse. Reactions to certain medications, trauma, and infectious causes can also lead to acute pancreatitis. Acute pancreatitis can be life threatening, but most patients recover completely.

Chronic pancreatitis refers to ongoing disease in which the pancreas continues to sustain damage and lose function over time. The majority of cases of chronic pancreatitis is a result from ongoing alcohol abuse, but some cases are hereditary or due to diseases such as cystic fibrosis.

What type of foods help with the health of your pancreas?

There are 3 things that are specifically  good for the pancreas.  Extra virgin coconut oil, cayenne, and Cinnamon.  First, you are going to need something that will try to improve the functions of the pancreas  Cinnamon is your answer for this. Next, you need a way of keeping in place the improvements of the cinnamon. To do this, the improvements need to be fueled. Cayenne does this by causing the body to produce a thousand times more capillaries than it normally would. So anytime a healthy cell is produced that improves the function of the pancreas, it will need food/oxygen from the new capillaries that are created. The new, well fed cell then needs strong communications with the rest of the cell structure and beyond that to the entire organ. What Extra Virgin Coconut Oil does is build and rebuild nerves and nerve fibers throughout the body. It has already been proven successful in correcting or helping with MS, Alzheimer’s, and dementia.

Anywhere in the body that nerves need to be created or repaired only the Extra Virgin Coconut Oil will do it. You can get capsules of Cinnamon at just about any health food store–if not, get raw cinnamon and number zero capsules and fill them your self. If you do not have an actual pancreas problem, one number zero capsule of cinnamon every three days is appropriate. If you get a warm feeling in your tummy, drink more water and it will go away. If you have any kind of stomach disorder, the cayenne will likely cure the problem but never make it worse. Any good health foods store will carry Extra Virgin Coconut Oil in various sizes. A pint will cost no more than about $20 and last a very long time. The Oil only stays in the body for 8 hours before it is matabolized. Therefore, if you have a nerve disorder of any type you need to take two-three teaspoons every eight hours. If just for general maintenance of your nerve system, then every three days take one tablespoon. You can mix it with cerial or take directly. When you buy coconut oil it has to be Extra Virgin, meaning it is all natural cold compressed, Otherwise the benefits are not as powerfull.

Those are the main 3 components to a healthier pancreas, but what are some others? and specifically what are some vegetables that help prevent pancreatic cancer.

Broccoli

This green cruciferous vegetable is a superfood that is great for keeping the pancreas fit and disease-free. It is mainly known for reducing the risk of pancreatic cancer, on account of having high quantities of quercetin, a potent flavonol that is very healthy. Flavonols help fight cancer in many ways and thus need be an essential part of one’s diet; they fortify the body’s detoxification mechanism, flushing out carcinogenic substances from the body; they also prevent the growth and division of cancer cells, and even propel the latter into self-destruction. Your body will benefit significantly from flavonol-rich foods, and quercetin-rich broccoli is unusually high for maintaining a healthy pancreas. Broccoli also lowers estrogen production and increases the production of testosterone which can be helpful in many ways for both men and women.

Garlic also aids the efficiency of the pancreatic digestive function by ensuring that controlled regulated release of insulin. Garlic allows for an increase in insulin production and a decrease in blood sugar levels. Thus, consuming it will help keep the pancreas in optimal condition. Since eating raw garlic is unappealing for most normal people, it may be taken chopped up with water or even grated in honey overnight.

Anyone who is experiencing pancreatitis are encouraged to add spinach to their diet. Spinach contains Vitamin B and iron, both of which are required to lessen the inflammation of the pancreas and aid in healing. However, preparations with spinach are not well-liked by many so other vitamin-rich leafy greens such as kale, Swiss chard and mustard may also be considered. For those experiencing chronic pancreatitis, one portion of the average meal is recommended to comprise of spinach or other alternatives mentioned, every day. You may add it to your normal meals as fillings in sauces, curries, soups and many other ways. I eat 7cups of spinach a day. I hide it in eggs thinly sliced and you cant even taste it. Also i blend it into my berry shakes in the morning. A whole cup can just dissapear into your shakes like this without having to chomp down a bunch of squeeky leaves.

Taking care of your Pancreas is essential for digestion and as ive said in my other articles, all health starts at the gut. If your stomach isnt able to digest the essential vitamins and minerals from the healthy foods you eat than what is the point in eating them? The pancreas is an often ignored organ. I drink a ton of green tea for its health benifits and weight loss/ fat burning attributes. Also because i fast intermittently, i need something zero calorie that isnt water or coffee. Matcha un like coffee, does not make your heart race however it has more caffiene than a cup of coffee. 6.2 times more antioxidants than goji berries. It improves cognitive function also. I dont know about you but when i drink coffee i feel on edge and more snappy with my kids. I still drink it because i love it but when i drink Matcha i dont feel the same effect.

Why yes it does. How to reverse and cure cancer naturally without chemo.

Scientific research over the past quarter century has lead to the discovery of the causes of cancer.

Mutations are the cause of cancer. There are numerous articles on the potential causes of cancer, however these are the main circumstances.

  • Random errors occur everytime a cell devides and copies a cell to make new cells. This happens millions of times a day. Cancer comes into play when this process effects a good gene.
  • Environmental. Most people add to these mutations with their behavior. Examplea of this would be smoking, laying in the direct sun or using unsafe skin products.
  • Genetic inheritance. Lets use football as an example.  While passing a ball down the field during a game there are going to be errors. They are an inevitable consequence of the game. Just the same as mutations happening when the cells devide.
  • Behavior, playing football after a night of drinking will cause more errors, just like certain behaviors cause more mutations when cells devide. An inherent factor would belike having the same crappy coach on the team but keep switching out the players.

So what are some behaviors and environmental factors to avoid?

 

Obesity.

Obesity is a huge contributor to cancer, right next to smoking. Why does obesity cause cancer?

Well it is because fat is active throughout the body causing deficiencies of important things that make the body run properly. Like growth hormone, sex hormone and causes inflimation. All these things lead to rapid cell division which increase probability of cell mutations.

The more obese and the more time being obese the more chances you have to catch cancer.

 

HPV.

This is actually what sparked my reasoning for this artical. Someone near and dear to me is in prestage cervical cancer from hpv. HPV or Human Papaloma Virus, mostly linked to cervical cancer and women.

There are 140 different types of HPV. Some are low risk and some are high risk. The high risk hpv are known to cause almost all cervical cancer.  Studies show 50 percent of all men have hpv. It puts us at greater risk of having cancer as well.

Recent studies have shown that head and neck cancer in men can be associated with HPV. 2/3 of tounge and tonsil cancers are caused by hpv. slide014.gif

The real issue is, as earthlings we are constantly exposed to carcinogens in our daily life. Whether it be from pollution, tainted water, plastic secretions, sexually transmitted diseases or our nutrition and diet and hundreds of other things.

Knowing that what we do and consume is a large contributing factor, why dont we pull our heads out of… ill just say a hole in the ground, and do something about it.

 

What can i do to reverse the growth of cancer?

The fact of the matter is Big pharma is the opposite direction you are going to want to look if you want the truth about a cure. Also anyone telling you they can cure cancer but making you buy a book or program first is an asshole and obviously doesnt have your best interest on mind. In saying that i would also like to say that science has shown time and time again that Cancer can not live in an alkaline environment.

So what does that mean? Basically what that means is that cancer prefers a high acidity level.

This means that controlling ones pH is essential in the proccess of ridding the body of cancer. What kinds of foods or activities lower your acidity and raise your ph?

There are a ton of products out there that aid in ridding tje body of cancer which i will get to in a moment but ill start here with Nutrition.

Choosing an alkaline diet is actually quite simple. SO I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANY EXCUSES!

Start with eating 70% Alkaline foods such as vegetables and legumes. ( peanuts, almonds broccoli, spinach, sunflower seads,ect) 30% acidic foods such as meat and carbs. By carbs i mean proccessed carbohydrates. Fruits are good for you. But just eating fruits isnt. Here is a good start.

1. Eat green
Fresh fruit, vegetables, roots, nuts and legumes are alkalizing to the body, so increase the amount of fruits and vegetables you eat. Aim to have some at every meal and make vegetables the focus rather than meat or grains. Reach for dark or dark green such as beetroot, avocado, broccoli, spinach, kale, peas, beans and cucumber.

2. Reduce acidic foods
You don’t have to cut them out altogether but try and limit your intake of meats, eggs, refined sugar, white flour and dairy. You ever wonder why sugar is white and flour is white when neitjer one are derived from its natural scource that color? Bleach!

3. Limit alcohol consumption
Most alcoholic beverages have a high sugar content and are highly acidic. You don’t have to cut it out altogether if you enjoy the occasional beer or glass of wine, but be aware of what you are drinking.

4.Exercise

I cant stress this one enough. How do you expect to be healthy if you dont get off your butt and break a sweat?  Exercise reduces acid in the body by giving it an exsit through our pores through sweating. Also it helps oxiginate the blood in your body in turn alkilizing it.

5.Reduce stress

Stress raises acidity in your body and contributes to build up of acid. Spend time meditating or if that sounds to hippy for you sit in a room and clear your mind of thought and focus on breathing. Yoga helps with this as well as increases mobility and flexibility. Exercise also reduces stress and helps the immune system.

6. Drink Alkaline Water!

I reccomend at least 8 to ten glasses a day. Society has given us too many unhealthy beverage option on the go. If you are pre cancer and drinking anything more than drinking alkaline water you either dont believe me or scientists who built their education around preventing cancer. Or you just dont care. Otherwise youre incapable of making intelligent decisions and do us all a favor and find an island to spend the rest of your years on. In looking for a ph level strive for 7 to 9. While most tap water is around 6 Alkaline water is usually around 9. Which does much better at reducing the amount of acidity in the body.

There are other benifits of an Alkaline diet such as weightloss, higher energy level and a lowered risk of type 2 diabetes, improves the health of your bones and reduces cramps caused by a high acidity level.

A short explination of what a normal schedual day looks like fasting For begginers.

For the sake of this article you just woke up. You feel hungry but you just started intermittent fasting and you cant eat for another 6hours. Whats the first thing youre going to want to consume? Well since you cant have any calories because that will break your fast, but you really want to curb that hunger feeling.

Actually its your body telling you that you are lacking certain minerals , often those minerals are potassium and sodium. Apple cider vinager is loaded with potassium but you dont want to over do it. Two table spoons in an 8ounce glass is plenty. And maybe sprinkle the salt a little. Makes for a healthy mineral enriched, thirst and hunger quencher first thing in the morning. its zero calories so it wont break your fast.

Applecider vinegar also aids in digestion which in some studies has shown also aids in weightloss. This mixture leaves you feeling like you just had saline fluids pumped into your veins.

After that it’s smooth sailin until you break your fast. I drink coffee and water all day but i dont recommend it if you’re sensitive to caffeine.

Green tea is a good substitute since it also jelps with weight loss and burning fat.

Like anything else, balance and moderation is the key to success. So since you have your morning and afternoon schedual free of preparing meals or worrying about what to eat you are free to go to work, go on a hike. Jump right into your workout. Wether it be at golds gym or 24hr fitness or at the park. I tend to work out a lot at the park because i have two kids and they love the park.

My oldest is into fitness like i am, so its exciting to watch her strive to be better than before.

Its time. 2:00 for me. Time to bust out the mct oil.

I break my fast with mct oil to get my body into full ketogenic mode and start burning that fat. Then i eat a fiber and fat rich salad and take my vitamins and nootropics. I take fish oil. Bcaa amino acids lysine. Acetyle l carnetine, NAC  and a few others i fully explain in my blog about nootropics.

  • Improving memory problems in elderly people. Taking acetyl-L-carnitine has been known to improve memory and mental function in older people with minor memory loss. Fatigue in older people.Taking acetyl-L-carnitine improves feelings of mental and physical tiredness in older people. It also appears to reduce feelings of fatigue  after exercise.

  • Treating Alzheimer’s disease.Acetyl-L-carnitine might slow the rate of disease progression, improve memory, and improve some measures of mental function and behavior in some patients with Alzheimer’s disease. It is more likely to help those with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease who are less than 66 years of age and have a faster rate of disease progression and mental decline.
  • Poor blood flow to the brain.Administering a single dose of acetyl-L-carnitine intravenously (by IV) seems to produce short-term improvements in blood flow in the brains of people who have poor blood circulation in the brain.

  • Age-related testosterone deficiency. Taking acetyl-L-carnitine by mouth along with propionyl-L-carnitine seems to help symptoms related to declining male hormone levels. This combination taken for 6 months seems to improve sexual dysfunction, depression, and fatigue in much the same way the male hormone testosterone does.
  • Treating Peyronie’s disease, a connective tissue disease in men. Acetyl-L-carnitine seems to be more effective than a drug called tamoxifen for reducing pain and slowing worsening of the condition.

  • Reducing nerve pain (neuropathy) caused by HIV treatment. Early research shows that taking acetyl-L-carnitine by mouth might reduce nerve pain caused by antiretroviral treatment. However, acetyl-L-carnitine does not seem to work when injected into the muscle.
  • Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Taking acetyl-L-carnitine does not seem to improve symptoms of ADHD in children already treated with methylphenidate.
  • Bipolar disorder. Taking acetyl-L-carnitine plus alpha-lipoic acid for 12 weeks does not seem to improve symptoms of depression in people with bipolar disorder.
  • Fibromyalgia. When injected into the muscle or taken by mouth, acetyl-L-carnitine appears to reduce some symptoms of fibromyalgia. The greatest benefit seems to be achieved when acetyl-L-carnitine is given using both routes.
  • Multiple sclerosis. Early research shows that taking acetyl-L-carnitine might reduce feelings of tiredness in people with multiple sclerosis.
  • Schizophrenia. Early research shows that taking acetyl-L-carnitine might reduce some symptoms of schizophrenia in people not well controlled with antipsychotic medicine. But acetyl-L-carnitine doesn’t improve all symptoms. It also doesn’t improve mental function.
